Hi! I would like to share my experience using candy pen eyeliner.
Since my first time using eyeliner. I’m falling in love with candy pen eyeliner. Melissa, my best friend, was adviced me to try it. For me, it’s easy to use than pencil eyeliner or brush eyeliner. VOV is special brand candy pen eyeliner, it’s made in Korea. I’ve been used for long time. Why? Simple, thick, easy, and the colour is strong jet black.

My favorite eyeliner shape is in cat eye eyeliner, where start at the outside corner of your eye. Draw a “flick” up toward the end of your eyebrow. This will create effect bigger iris. And best of all, VOV is not melts easily.
With neat box packaging, its make you easy to carry on everywhere, anywhere. And VOV candy pen eyeliner is waterproof. I’ve tested the product when I was going to swim near my house. It stays on my eyes nicely. Well, you need wait for a sec until dry when apply the eyeliner to get better result. So, it will stick on your eyes perfectly. Don’t rub it!
I love how the tip works. It doesn’t smudge at all and doesn’t give me panda eyes. I really enjoy use it to draw thick or thin line alike. But it doesn’t work for waterline. I’ve tried then its smudge and worse.
Here is the result when I used VOV candy pen eyeliner in 2009. If you want to get really bold, you have to re-apply about 2-3 times.
But nowdays, I dunno what happen with the product, VOV candy pen eyeliner is not make me satisfied like I used to. The color is not really black if you only apply once. So you have to do that for more than twice, even more. And it melts easily. And sadly, now it does smudge when you apply it. You could see pen-like plastic bodied eyeliner pen which has been flake off by the time. L
Pros:
· The price is reasonable, IDR 130.000s
· Easy for you who always use eyeliner for daily routine
· Gives thin and thick line, quick dry
· Waterproof
· Stay long on eyes
· Does not smudge for early hours after use
· Felt tip applicator
Cons:
· You need to re-apply 2-3 times to get great pigmentation
· Not suitable for waterline
· Its hard to find in Indonesia (only at Plaza Semanggi)
· pen-like plastic bodied eyeliner pen which has been flake off by the time
Overall, I’m pleased as loyal customer of VOV candy pen eyeliner by far. I love simple packaging. And more, its easy to use for daily base. Yes, it may be recommended product for you makeup beginner or college girls with reasonable price. Anyway, if you need reference for base make up, you should try this one!
